Are you an entrepreneur trying to get your startup off the ground in Albuquerque? Do you want to grow in the downtown innovation corridor with other entrepreneurs?
ABQid, Inc. and FatPipeABQ are now soliciting applications for our first-ever ‘Super Sweet Startup Digs Contest’. The winning team gets 6-months of prime startup real estate alongside ABQid in the Verge Building or FatPipeABQ, downtown. Also included is full access to the ABQid Accelerator mentors, a wardrobe for the budding entrepreneur from Runway Apparel, and a 6-month FatPipe ABQ membership.
This contest is open to local entrepreneurs and is sponsored by ABQid, FatPipeABQ, the City of Albuquerque, the Verge Fund, Southwest Capital Bank, the Rodey Law Firm, Lerner Law, CliftonLarsonAllen and Runway Apparel, among others who are committed to growing Albuquerque’s startup ecosystem.
“This is a great opportunity for recent and newly formed startup companies to immerse themselves in an intensively focused entrepreneurial environment and gain insights that are only possible by learning in the startup accelerator environment” said Bill Bice, serial entrepreneur and ABQid Board Chair. “We have a dense and growing entrepreneurial community and are excited about the chance to help new enterprises get off the ground with the concentration of resources we’ve built around the ABQid Accelerator program.”
Applications for the next ABQid Accelerator program open on February 2nd and close on March 15th. The program will run between June and August of next year, with another cohort of ten companies being selected by May. Please visit the ABQid website for more information about the program and links to the application opening on February 2nd.
ABQid is focused on cultivating the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region by identifying and developing the community’s next generation of innovators through entrepreneurial bootcamps, cultivating talent, and providing a place for entrepreneurs to learn from mentors and business experts.
